Psalm 59:6-10

⁶ Each evening they ^(A)come back,
    howling like dogs
    and prowling about the city.
⁷ There they are, ^(B)bellowing with their mouths
    with ^(C)swords in their lips—
    for ^(D)“Who,” they think,^[a] “will hear us?”

⁸ But you, O Lord, ^(E)laugh at them;
    you hold all the nations in derision.
⁹ O my Strength, I will watch for you,
    for you, O God, are ^(F)my fortress.
^10 (G)My God in his steadfast love^{[b] (H)}will meet me;
    God will let me ^(I)look in triumph on my enemies.
