Psalm 54[a]
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil[b] of David. When the Ziphites(A) had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?”
1 Save me(B), O God, by your name;(C)
vindicate me by your might.(D)
2 Hear my prayer, O God;(E)
listen to the words of my mouth.

54 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, nhờ danh Ngài, xin giải cứu tôi,
Xin dùng năng lực Ngài minh oan cho tôi.
2 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin nghe lời cầu nguyện tôi,
Xin lắng tai nghe tiếng nói của miệng tôi.
3 Vì những kẻ xa lạ[a] nổi lên chống tôi,
Những người tàn ác tìm hại mạng sống tôi.[b]
Chúng không để Đức Chúa Trời trước mặt mình.
4 Kìa, Đức Chúa Trời là Đấng giúp đỡ tôi,
Chúa là Đấng gìn giữ linh hồn tôi.
5 Ngài sẽ lấy ác báo trả các kẻ thù tôi,[c]
Vì sự thành tín của Ngài, xin hãy hủy diệt chúng nó.
6 Lạy CHÚA, tôi sẽ dâng cho Ngài tế lễ tự nguyện,
Tôi sẽ ca ngợi danh Ngài
Vì danh ấy là tốt lành.
7 Vì Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi mọi gian nguy
Và mắt tôi nhìn đắc thắng[d] trên các kẻ thù tôi.

2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

54 Save me, O God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen up against me,
And oppressors have sought after my life;
They have not set God before them. Selah
4 Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who [c]uphold my life.
5 He will repay my enemies for their evil.
[d]Cut them off in Your [e]truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
7 For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
(B)And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.
