Prayer for Deliverance
For the choir director: with stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. When the Ziphites went and said to Saul, ‘Is David not hiding among us? ’(A)
54 God, save me by your name,
and vindicate me by your might!(B)
2 God, hear my prayer;
listen to the words from my mouth.(C)
3 For strangers rise up against me,
and violent men intend to kill me.
They do not let God guide them.[a](D) Selah
4 God is my helper;
the Lord is the sustainer of my life.[b](E)
5 He will repay my adversaries for their evil.
Because of your faithfulness, annihilate them.(F)
6 I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you.(G)
I will praise your name, Lord,
because it is good.(H)
7 For he has rescued me from every trouble,
and my eye has looked down on my enemies.(I)

54 Lạy Chúa, xin hãy vì danh Chúa mà giải cứu tôi.
Dùng năng lực Ngài để chứng minh tôi vô tội [a].
2 Xin hãy nghe lời cầu nguyện tôi;
lắng nghe tiếng kêu của tôi.
3 Biết bao người lạ nổi lên chống nghịch tôi,
Những kẻ hung ác muốn giết tôi.
Chúng không cần biết đến Ngài. Xê-la
4 Nầy, Thượng Đế sẽ giúp đỡ tôi;
Chúa sẽ yểm trợ tôi.
5 Cầu cho kẻ thù tôi bị trừng phạt chung với mưu ác của chúng.
Xin hãy tiêu diệt chúng vì Ngài thành tín đối với tôi.
6 Tôi sẽ dâng sinh tế cho Chúa.
Lạy CHÚA, tôi sẽ cảm tạ Ngài vì Ngài nhân từ.
7 Ngài đã giải cứu tôi khỏi mọi gian nan,
