New International Version
Psalm 53[a](A)
For the director of music. According to mahalath.[b] A maskil[c] of David.
1 The fool(B) says in his heart,
“There is no God.”(C)
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 God looks down from heaven(D)
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,(E)
any who seek God.(F)
3 Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.(G)
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on God.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
where there was nothing to dread.(H)
God scattered the bones(I) of those who attacked you;(J)
you put them to shame,(K) for God despised them.(L)
6 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When God restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

53 Kẻ ngu dại nói trong lòng rằng
Không có Đức Chúa Trời.
Chúng nó đều tồi bại và làm những điều gian ác ghê tởm.
Không có ai làm điều thiện.
2 Đức Chúa Trời từ trên trời
Nhìn xuống loài người,[a]
Để xem thử có ai khôn ngoan,
Tìm kiếm Đức Chúa Trời không?
3 Chúng nó hết thảy đều lui trở lại,
Đều suy đồi như nhau.
Không có ai làm điều thiện,
Dù một người cũng không.
4 Phải chăng những kẻ làm ác thiếu hiểu biết?
Chúng ăn nuốt dân ta như ăn bánh,
Cũng chẳng cầu khẩn Đức Chúa Trời.
5 Kìa, chúng nó bị kinh hoàng lớn
Dù không có gì đáng kinh hoàng.[b]
Vì Đức Chúa Trời vung vãi xương cốt những kẻ dàn quân tấn công ngươi.[c]
Ngươi sẽ làm cho chúng hổ thẹn vì Đức Chúa Trời đã từ bỏ chúng nó.
6 Ôi, ước gì sự giải cứu Y-sơ-ra-ên từ Si-ôn đã đến.
Khi Đức Chúa Trời phục hồi cơ đồ[d] cho dân Ngài,
Thì Gia-cốp sẽ hân hoan, Y-sơ-ra-ên sẽ mừng rỡ.

To the Chief Musician. Set to “Mahalath.” A [a]Contemplation of David.
53 The (B)fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
(C)There is none who does good.
2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who (D)seek God.
3 Every one of them has turned aside;
They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity (E)no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And do not call upon God?
5 (F)There they are in great fear
Where no fear was,
For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you;
You have put them to shame,
Because God has despised them.
6 (G)Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When God brings back [b]the captivity of His people,
Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
