² God looks down from heaven^(A)
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,^(B)
    any who seek God.^(C)

⁶ Seek^(A) the Lord while he may be found;^(B)
    call^(C) on him while he is near.

¹⁰ The fear of the Lord^(A) is the beginning of wisdom;^(B)
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.^(C)
    To him belongs eternal praise.^(D)

¹³ From heaven the Lord looks down^(A)
    and sees all mankind;^(B)
14 from his dwelling place^(C) he watches
    all who live on earth—

²⁴ Who can hide^(A) in secret places
    so that I cannot see them?”
declares the Lord.
    “Do not I fill heaven and earth?”^(B)
declares the Lord.

⁸ My heart says of you, “Seek his face!^(A)”
    Your face, Lord, I will seek.
