⁶ The righteous will see and fear;
    they will laugh^(A) at you, saying,

¹⁰ The righteous will be glad^(A) when they are avenged,^(B)
    when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.^(C)

²⁶ I in turn will laugh^(A) when disaster^(B) strikes you;
    I will mock^(C) when calamity overtakes you^(D)—
²⁷ when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
    when disaster^(E) sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
    when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
