Psalm 51
King James Version
51 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David (A)when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
51 Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
(B)Blot out my transgressions.
2 (C)Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 (D)Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil (E)in Your sight—
(F)That You may be found just [a]when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.
5 (G)Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

And sinners shall be converted to You.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For (N)You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 (O)The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then You shall be pleased with (P)the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

ontukulize ddala okuva mu kibi kyange.

era ebibi byange mbimanyi bulijjo.
4 (D)Ggwe wennyini ggwe nnyonoonye,
ne nkola ebitali bya butuukirivu mu maaso go ng’olaba;
noolwekyo by’oyogera bituufu,
era n’ensala yo ey’omusango ya bwenkanya.
5 (E)Ddala, nazaalibwa mu kibi;
kasookedde ntondebwa mu lubuto lwa mmange ndi mwonoonyi.
6 (F)Oyagala amazima agaviira ddala mu mutima gwange.
Ompe amagezi munda ddala mu nze.
7 (G)Onnaaze n’ezobu[a] ntukule
onnaaze ntukule n’okusinga omuzira.
8 (H)Onzirize essanyu n’okwesiima,
amagumba gange ge wamenyaamenya gasanyuke.
9 (I)Totunuulira bibi byange,
era osangule ebyonoono byange byonna.
10 (J)Ontondemu omutima omulongoofu, Ayi Katonda,
era onteekemu omwoyo omulungi munda yange.
11 (K)Tongoba w’oli,
era tonzigyako Mwoyo wo Omutukuvu.
12 (L)Onkomezeewo essanyu ery’obulokozi bwo,
era ompe omutima ogugondera by’oyagala,
13 (M)ndyoke njigirizenga aboonoonyi amakubo go,
n’abakola ebibi bakukyukirenga bakomewo gy’oli.
14 (N)Ondokole mu kibi eky’okuyiwa omusaayi, Ayi Katonda,
ggwe Katonda ow’obulokozi bwange;
olulimi lwange lunaatenderezanga obutuukirivu bwo.
15 (O)Ayi Mukama, yasamya emimwa gyange,
n’akamwa kange kanaakutenderezanga.
16 (P)Tosanyukira ssaddaaka, nandigikuleetedde;
n’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa tobisanyukira.
17 (Q)Ssaddaaka Katonda gy’ayagala gwe mwoyo ogutegedde okusobya kwagwo.
Omutima ogumenyese era oguboneredde,
Ayi Katonda, toogugayenga.
18 (R)Okulaakulanye Sayuuni nga bw’osiima.
Yerusaalemi okizzeeko bbugwe waakyo.
19 (S)Olyoke osanyukire ssaddaaka ey’obutuukirivu,
ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa ebikusanyusa;
n’ente ziweebweyo ku kyoto kyo.
