Psalm 5
Revised Geneva Translation
5 Hear my words, O LORD. Understand my meditation.
2 Hear the voice of my cry, my King and my God. For to you I pray.
3 Hear my voice in the morning, O LORD. In the morning I will direct myself to You, and I will wait.
4 For You are not a God Who loves wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You.
5 The foolish shall not stand in Your sight. You hate all those who work iniquity.
6 You shall destroy those who speak lies. The LORD will abhor the bloody man, and deceitful.
7 But I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy. In Your fear I will worship toward Your Holy Temple.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies. Make Your way plain before my face.
9 For no constancy is in their mouth. Inside they are very corruption. Their throat is an open sepulcher. They flatter with their tongue.
10 Destroy them, O God. Let them fall from their counsels. Cast them out for the multitude of their iniquities, because they have rebelled against You.
11 And let all those who trust in You rejoice, and triumph forever. And cover them. And let those who love Your Name rejoice in You.
12 For You, LORD, will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor, as with a shield. To him who excels on Neginoth, upon the eight tune: A Psalm of David.

1 Escucha, oh SEÑOR, mis palabras. Considera la meditación mía.
2 Está atento a la voz de mi clamor, Rey mío y Dios mío, porque a ti oraré.
3 Oh SEÑOR, de mañana oirás mi voz; de mañana me presentaré a ti, y esperaré.
4 Porque tú no eres un Dios que ame la maldad: El malo no habitará junto a ti.
5 No estarán los locos que se gobiernan por afecto o consejo de la carne delante de tus ojos; aborreces a todos los que obran iniquidad.
6 Destruirás a los que hablan mentira. Al varón de sangre y de engaño abominará el SEÑOR.
7 ¶ Y yo en la multitud de tu misericordia entraré en tu Casa; adoraré hacia el santo Templo tuyo con tu temor.
8 Guíame, SEÑOR, en tu justicia a causa de mis enemigos; endereza delante de mí tu camino.
9 Porque no hay en su boca rectitud; sus entrañas son llenas de maldad; sepulcro abierto es su garganta, con su lengua lisonjearán.
10 Desbaratados, oh Dios; caigan por sus propios consejos; por la multitud de sus rebeliones échalos, porque se rebelaron contra ti.
11 Y se alegrarán todos los que esperan en ti; para siempre jubilarán, y los cubrirás; y se alegrarán en ti los que aman tu nombre.
12 Porque tú, oh SEÑOR, bendecirás al justo; lo cercarás de benevolencia como con un escudo.
