Psalm 5:7-12
New American Standard Bible
7 But as for me, (A)by Your abundant graciousness I will enter Your house,
[a]At Your holy temple I will (B)bow in (C)reverence for You.
8 Lord, (D)lead me (E)in Your righteousness (F)because of my enemies;
Make Your way [b]straight before me.
9 For there is (G)nothing [c]trustworthy in [d]their mouth;
Their (H)inward part is destruction itself.
Their (I)throat is an open grave;
They [e]flatter with their tongue.
10 Make them pay, God;
(J)Have them fall by their own schemes!
(K)Scatter them in the multitude of their wrongdoings,
For they are (L)rebellious against You.
11 But (M)rejoice, all who (N)take refuge in You,
Sing for joy forever!
And [f]may You (O)shelter them,
That those who (P)love Your name may rejoice in You.
12 For You (Q)bless the righteous person, Lord,
You (R)surround him with favor as with a shield.
