God Is King over All the Earth
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of (A)the Sons of Korah.
47 (B)Clap your hands, all peoples!
(C)Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the Lord, the Most High, (D)is to be feared,
(E)a great king over all the earth.
3 He (F)subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our (G)heritage for us,
(H)the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
5 God (I)has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is (J)the King of all the earth;
sing praises (K)with a psalm![a]
8 God (L)reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 (M)The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For (N)the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

1 Hãy vỗ tay, hỡi mọi người!
Hãy lớn tiếng reo mừng ca ngợi Ðức Chúa Trời!
2 Vì Chúa, Ðấng Tối Cao, thật đáng kính sợ.
Ngài là Vua cao cả trên toàn thế giới.
3 Ngài làm cho các dân bị khuất phục dưới chúng tôi,
Và các nước ở dưới chân chúng tôi.
4 Ngài chọn cơ nghiệp cho chúng tôi,
Vinh hiển của Gia-cốp, người Ngài yêu mến. (Sê-la)
5 Ðức Chúa Trời ngự lên giữa tiếng reo mừng;
Chúa ngự lên giữa tiếng kèn trỗi lên vang lừng.
6 Hãy ca ngợi Ðức Chúa Trời; khá hát lên những bài chúc tụng;
Hãy ca ngợi Vua chúng ta; khá hát lên những bài chúc tụng,
7 Vì Ðức Chúa Trời là Vua của toàn thế giới;
Hãy ca ngợi Ngài bằng những bài thánh thi chúc tụng.
8 Ðức Chúa Trời trị vì trên các dân các nước;
Ðức Chúa Trời ngự trên ngôi thánh của Ngài.
9 Các lãnh tụ thế giới họp nhau lại làm dân của Ðức Chúa Trời của Áp-ra-ham,
Bởi vì các thủ lãnh[a] trên thế gian đều thuộc về Ðức Chúa Trời.
Ngài được tôn chí cao!
