⁴There is ^(A)a river whose streams make glad ^(B)the city of God,
    the holy ^(C)habitation of the Most High.
⁵^(D)God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
    God will help her when morning dawns.
⁶^(E)The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
    he ^(F)utters his voice, the earth ^(G)melts.
⁷^(H)The Lord of hosts is with us;

For God So Loved the World

¹⁶“For ^(A)God so loved ^(B)the world,^[a] ^(C)that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(D)perish but have eternal life. ¹⁷For ^(E)God did not send his Son into the world ^(F)to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. ¹⁸^(G)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(H)believed in the name of the only Son of God.
