Psalm 44:5-8

New International Version

⁵ Through you we push back^(A) our enemies;
    through your name we trample^(B) our foes.
⁶ I put no trust in my bow,^(C)
    my sword does not bring me victory;
⁷ but you give us victory^(D) over our enemies,
    you put our adversaries to shame.^(E)
8 In God we make our boast^(F) all day long,^(G)
    and we will praise your name forever.^[a](H)
