New English Translation

14 You made us[a] an object of ridicule[b] among the nations;
foreigners treat us with contempt.[c]
15 All day long I feel humiliated[d]
and am overwhelmed with shame,[e]
16 before the vindictive enemy
who ridicules and insults me.[f]

15 I live in disgrace(C) all day long,
    and my face is covered with shame(D)
16 at the taunts(E) of those who reproach and revile(F) me,
    because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge.(G)
