Psalm 37:6-10

New International Version

⁶ He will make your righteous reward^(A) shine like the dawn,^(B)
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

⁷ Be still^(C) before the Lord
    and wait patiently^(D) for him;
do not fret^(E) when people succeed in their ways,^(F)
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.^(G)

⁸ Refrain from anger^(H) and turn from wrath;
    do not fret^(I)—it leads only to evil.
⁹ For those who are evil will be destroyed,^(J)
    but those who hope^(K) in the Lord will inherit the land.^(L)

¹⁰ A little while, and the wicked will be no more;^(M)
    though you look for them, they will not be found.
