Psalm 37:3-7

English Standard Version

³^(A)Trust in the Lord, and do good;
^(B)dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.^[a]
⁴^(C)Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will ^(D)give you the desires of your heart.

⁵^(E)Commit your way to the Lord;
^(F)trust in him, and he will act.
⁶^(G)He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as ^(H)the noonday.

⁷^(I)Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
^(J)fret not yourself over the one who ^(K)prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!
