⁴ I ^(A)sought the Lord, and he answered me
    and delivered me from all my fears.
⁵ Those who look to him are ^(B)radiant,
    and their faces shall never be ashamed.
^6 (C)This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
    and ^(D)saved him out of all his troubles.
^7 (E)The angel of the Lord ^(F)encamps
    around those who fear him, and delivers them.

⁸ Oh, ^(G)taste and see that ^(H)the Lord is good!
    ^(I)Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
⁹ Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints,
    for those who fear him have no lack!
^10 (J)The young lions suffer want and hunger;
    but those who ^(K)seek the Lord lack no good thing.

^19 (A)Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    ^(B)but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
