Psalm 32
Of David. A maskil.[a]
1 Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.(A)
2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them(B)
and in whose spirit is no deceit.(C)
3 When I kept silent,(D)
my bones wasted away(E)
through my groaning(F) all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy(G) on me;
my strength was sapped(H)
as in the heat of summer.[b]
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.(I)
I said, “I will confess(J)
my transgressions(K) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.(L)
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;(M)
surely the rising(N) of the mighty waters(O)
will not reach them.(P)
7 You are my hiding place;(Q)
you will protect me from trouble(R)
and surround me with songs of deliverance.(S)
8 I will instruct(T) you and teach you(U) in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on(V) you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle(W)
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,(X)
but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts(Y) in him.
11 Rejoice in the Lord(Z) and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!

32 Bienaventurado aquel a quien es perdonada su transgresión, y cubierto su pecado.
2 Bienaventurado el hombre a quien Jehová no imputa iniquidad,
Y en cuyo espíritu no hay doblez.
3 Mientras callé, se consumieron mis huesos
En mi gemir de todo el día.
4 Porque de día y de noche pesaba sobre mí tu mano;
Se volvió mi verdor en sequedades de estío.

5 Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad.
Dije: Confesaré mis transgresiones a Jehová;
Y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado.
Selah
6 Por esto orará a ti todo santo en el tiempo en que puedas ser hallado;
Ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas no llegarán éstas a él.
7 Tú eres mi refugio; me guardarás de la angustia;
Con cánticos de liberación me rodearás.
Selah
8 Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que debes andar;
Sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.
9 No seáis como el caballo, o como el mulo, sin entendimiento,
Que han de ser sujetados con cabestro y con freno,
Porque si no, no se pueden dominar.
10 Muchos dolores habrá para el impío;
Mas al que espera en Jehová, le rodea la misericordia.
11 Alegraos en Jehová y gozaos, justos;
Y cantad con júbilo todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.
