Blessed Are the Forgiven

A Maskil^[a] of David.

32 ^(A)Blessed is the one whose ^(B)transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
²Blessed is the man against whom the Lord ^(C)counts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit ^(D)there is no deceit.

³For when I kept silent, my ^(E)bones wasted away
through my ^(F)groaning all day long.
⁴For day and night your ^(G)hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up^[b] as by the heat of summer. Selah

⁵I ^(H)acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I ^(I)will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Judging Others

7 ^(A)“Judge not, that you be not judged. ²^(B)For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and ^(C)with the measure you use it will be measured to you. ³Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but ^(D)do not notice the log that is in your own eye? ⁴Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? ⁵You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
