30 I will praise you, Lord, for you have saved me from my enemies. You refuse to let them triumph over me. 2 O Lord my God, I pleaded with you, and you gave me my health again. 3 You brought me back from the brink of the grave, from death itself, and here I am alive!
4 Oh, sing to him you saints of his; give thanks to his holy name. 5 His anger lasts a moment; his favor lasts for life! Weeping may go on all night, but in the morning there is joy.
6-7 In my prosperity I said, “This is forever; nothing can stop me now! The Lord has shown me his favor. He has made me steady as a mountain.” Then, Lord, you turned your face away from me and cut off your river of blessings.[a] Suddenly my courage was gone; I was terrified and panic-stricken. 8 I cried to you, O Lord; oh, how I pled: 9 “What will you gain, O Lord, from killing me? How can I praise you then to all my friends? How can my dust in the grave speak out and tell the world about your faithfulness? 10 Hear me, Lord; oh, have pity and help me.” 11 Then he turned my sorrow into joy! He took away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy 12 so that I might sing glad praises to the Lord instead of lying in silence in the grave. O Lord my God, I will keep on thanking you forever!

30 Lạy CHÚA, tôi ca ngợi Ngài,
Vì Ngài đã kéo tôi lên.
Không để cho kẻ thù vui mừng vì cớ tôi.
2 Lạy CHÚA, Đức Chúa Trời của tôi.
Tôi đã kêu cứu Ngài và Ngài chữa lành tôi.
3 Lạy CHÚA, Ngài đã đem linh hồn[a] tôi lên khỏi Âm Phủ.
Ngài đã phục hồi mạng sống tôi từ những người đi xuống huyệt sâu.[b]
4 Hỡi những người trung tín của Ngài,
Hãy ca ngợi CHÚA và cảm tạ danh thánh[c] Ngài.
5 Vì cơn giận của Ngài chỉ trong chốc lát,
Còn ơn của Ngài thì suốt cả một đời.
Than khóc có thể kéo dài trong đêm.
Nhưng vui mừng khi rạng đông ló dạng.
6 Còn tôi, trong khi thịnh vượng tôi đã nói:
Tôi sẽ không bao giờ bị rung chuyển.
7 Lạy CHÚA, nhờ ơn Ngài,
Ngài lập tôi như ngọn núi vững chắc.[d]
Ngài lánh mặt đi,
Tôi bị bối rối.
8 Lạy CHÚA, tôi kêu cầu cùng Ngài.
Lạy CHÚA tôi, tôi khẩn nguyện với Ngài.
9 Lợi ích gì khi tôi bị đổ huyết mất mạng,
Bị đi xuống huyệt sâu?
Cát bụi sẽ ca ngợi Ngài chăng?
Sẽ rao truyền chân lý của Ngài không?[e]
10 Lạy CHÚA, xin hãy nghe,
Lạy CHÚA, xin thương xót tôi, xin giúp đỡ tôi.
11 Ngài đã đổi lời than khóc của tôi ra nhảy múa,
Ngài cởi bỏ áo tang chế của tôi và mặc[f] cho tôi vui mừng.
12 Để linh hồn tôi ca ngợi Ngài và không im lặng.
Lạy CHÚA, Đức Chúa Trời của tôi. Tôi cảm tạ Ngài đời đời.

1 I will exalt(A) you, Lord,
for you lifted me out of the depths(B)
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.(C)
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,(D)
and you healed me.(E)
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;(F)
you spared me from going down to the pit.(G)
4 Sing(H) the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;(I)
praise his holy name.(J)
5 For his anger(K) lasts only a moment,(L)
but his favor lasts a lifetime;(M)
weeping(N) may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.(O)
6 When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”(P)
7 Lord, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain[c] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,(Q)
I was dismayed.
