A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.(A)
1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.(B)”[b]
3 But you, Lord, are a shield(C) around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.(D)
4 I call out to the Lord,(E)
and he answers me from his holy mountain.(F)
5 I lie down and sleep;(G)
I wake again,(H) because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear(I) though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.(J)

3 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

«Dios no lo salvará». Selah
3 Pero tú, SEÑOR, eres mi escudo.
Tú me honras y me animas.[a]
4 Te pido ayuda SEÑOR,
y me respondes desde tu monte santo. Selah
5 Me voy a dormir tranquilo y sé que despertaré,
porque el SEÑOR me protege.
6 Por eso no me asustaré
aunque miles me rodeen para atacarme.
7 ¡Levántate, SEÑOR!
Dios mío, ven y rescátame.
Ojalá les dieras una bofetada a mis enemigos
y les rompieras los dientes a los perversos.
8 SEÑOR, tú nos das la victoria,
