Hoffnung für Alle
Vor Menschen mutig, vor Gott demütig
27 Von David.
Der Herr ist mein Licht, er rettet mich.
Vor wem sollte ich mich noch fürchten?
Bei ihm bin ich geborgen wie in einer Burg.
Vor wem sollte ich noch zittern und zagen?
2 Wenn mich gewissenlose Leute in die Enge treiben
und mir nach dem Leben trachten,
wenn sie mich bedrängen und mich offen anfeinden –
am Ende sind sie es, die stürzen und umkommen!
3 Selbst wenn eine ganze Armee gegen mich aufmarschiert,
habe ich dennoch keine Angst.
Auch wenn sie einen Krieg gegen mich beginnen,
bleibe ich ruhig und zuversichtlich.
4 Um eines habe ich den Herrn gebeten;
das ist alles, was ich will:
Solange ich lebe, möchte ich im Haus des Herrn bleiben.
Dort will ich erfahren, wie freundlich der Herr ist,
und still nachdenken in seinem Tempel.
5 Er bietet mir Schutz in schwerer Zeit
und versteckt mich in seinem Zelt.
Er stellt mich auf einen hohen Felsen,
6 unerreichbar für meine Feinde ringsumher.
In seinem Heiligtum will ich Opfer darbringen,
voll Freude für den Herrn singen und musizieren.
7 Höre mich, Herr, wenn ich rufe!
Hab Erbarmen mit mir und antworte!
8 Ich erinnere mich, dass du gesagt hast: »Sucht meine Nähe!«
Das will ich jetzt tun und im Gebet zu dir kommen.
9 Verbirg dich darum nicht vor mir,
stoße mich nicht im Zorn zurück!
Ich diene dir, und du hast mir bisher immer geholfen.
Gib mich nicht auf, verlass mich nicht, du mein Gott und mein Retter!
10 Selbst wenn Vater und Mutter mich verstoßen,
nimmst du, Herr, mich dennoch auf.
11 Zeige mir, was ich tun soll!
Führe mich auf sicherem Weg, meinen Feinden zum Trotz.
12 Liefere mich nicht ihrer Rachgier aus!
Falsche Zeugen verklagen mich, sie speien Gift und Galle.
13 Ich aber bin gewiss, dass ich am Leben bleibe und sehen werde,
wie gut es Gott mit mir meint.
14 Vertraue auf den Herrn!
Sei stark und mutig, vertraue auf den Herrn!

27 （ 大 衛 的 詩 。 ） 耶 和 華 是 我 的 亮 光 ， 是 我 的 拯 救 ， 我 還 怕 誰 呢 ？ 耶 和 華 是 我 性 命 的 保 障 （ 或 譯 ： 力 量 ） ， 我 還 懼 誰 呢 ？
2 那 作 惡 的 就 是 我 的 仇 敵 ， 前 來 吃 我 肉 的 時 候 就 絆 跌 仆 倒 。
3 雖 有 軍 兵 安 營 攻 擊 我 ， 我 的 心 也 不 害 怕 ； 雖 然 興 起 刀 兵 攻 擊 我 ， 我 必 仍 舊 安 穩 。
4 有 一 件 事 ， 我 曾 求 耶 和 華 ， 我 仍 要 尋 求 ： 就 是 一 生 一 世 住 在 耶 和 華 的 殿 中 ， 瞻 仰 他 的 榮 美 ， 在 他 的 殿 裡 求 問 。
5 因 為 我 遭 遇 患 難 ， 他 必 暗 暗 地 保 守 我 ； 在 他 亭 子 裡 ， 把 我 藏 在 他 帳 幕 的 隱 密 處 ， 將 我 高 舉 在 磐 石 上 。
6 現 在 我 得 以 昂 首 ， 高 過 四 面 的 仇 敵 。 我 要 在 他 的 帳 幕 裡 歡 然 獻 祭 ； 我 要 唱 詩 歌 頌 耶 和 華 。
7 耶 和 華 啊 ， 我 用 聲 音 呼 籲 的 時 候 ， 求 你 垂 聽 ； 並 求 你 憐 恤 我 ， 應 允 我 。

11 耶 和 華 啊 ， 求 你 將 你 的 道 指 教 我 ， 因 我 仇 敵 的 緣 故 引 導 我 走 平 坦 的 路 。
12 求 你 不 要 把 我 交 給 敵 人 ， 遂 其 所 願 ； 因 為 妄 作 見 證 的 和 口 吐 凶 言 的 ， 起 來 攻 擊 我 。
13 我 若 不 信 在 活 人 之 地 得 見 耶 和 華 的 恩 惠 ， 就 早 已 喪 膽 了 。
14 要 等 候 耶 和 華 ！ 當 壯 膽 ， 堅 固 你 的 心 ！ 我 再 說 ， 要 等 候 耶 和 華 ！

27 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.
11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

An Exuberant Declaration of Faith
A Psalm of David.
27 The Lord is my (A)light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The (B)Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To (C)eat[a] up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 (D)Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4 (E)One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may (F)dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the [b]beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

He shall hide me;
