A Plea for Deliverance and Forgiveness
A Psalm of David.
25 To (A)You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I (B)trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
(C)Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who [a]waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 (D)Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O Lord, (E)Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember (F)the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
(G)According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
9 The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth,
To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 (H)For Your name’s sake, O Lord,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12 Who is the man that fears the Lord?
(I)Him shall [b]He teach in the way He chooses.
13 (J)He himself shall dwell in [c]prosperity,
And (K)his descendants shall inherit the earth.
14 (L)The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.
15 (M)My eyes are ever toward the Lord,
For He shall [d]pluck my feet out of the net.
16 (N)Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me,
For I am [e]desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses!
18 (O)Look on my affliction and my pain,
And forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many;
And they hate me with [f]cruel hatred.
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.
22 (P)Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all their troubles!

1 In you, Lord my God,
I put my trust.(A)
2 I trust in you;(B)
do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
3 No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,(C)
but shame will come on those
who are treacherous(D) without cause.
4 Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.(E)
5 Guide me in your truth(F) and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,(G)
and my hope is in you(H) all day long.
6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,(I)
for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth(J)
and my rebellious ways;(K)
according to your love(L) remember me,
for you, Lord, are good.(M)
8 Good and upright(N) is the Lord;
therefore he instructs(O) sinners in his ways.
9 He guides(P) the humble in what is right
and teaches them(Q) his way.
10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful(R)
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.(S)
11 For the sake of your name,(T) Lord,
forgive(U) my iniquity,(V) though it is great.
12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?(W)
He will instruct them in the ways(X) they should choose.[b]
13 They will spend their days in prosperity,(Y)
and their descendants will inherit the land.(Z)
14 The Lord confides(AA) in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known(AB) to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the Lord,(AC)
for only he will release my feet from the snare.(AD)
16 Turn to me(AE) and be gracious to me,(AF)
for I am lonely(AG) and afflicted.
17 Relieve the troubles(AH) of my heart
and free me from my anguish.(AI)
18 Look on my affliction(AJ) and my distress(AK)
and take away all my sins.(AL)
19 See how numerous are my enemies(AM)
and how fiercely they hate me!(AN)
20 Guard my life(AO) and rescue me;(AP)
do not let me be put to shame,(AQ)
for I take refuge(AR) in you.
21 May integrity(AS) and uprightness(AT) protect me,
because my hope, Lord,[c] is in you.(AU)
22 Deliver Israel,(AV) O God,
from all their troubles!

25 1-2 Ginoo nga akong Dios, kanimo ako nagaampo ug nagasalig.
Ayaw intawon itugot nga pildihon ako sa akong mga kaaway,
aron dili ako maulawan.
3 Ang tanan nga nagasalig kanimo dili maulawan,
apan kadtong nagaluib kanimo maulawan.
4 Tudloi ako, Ginoo, sa imong mga pamaagi.
5 Tudloi ako sa pagkinabuhi subay sa imong kamatuoran,
kay ikaw ang Dios nga akong manluluwas.
Nagasalig ako kanimo sa kanunay.
6 Hinumdomi, Ginoo, ang imong kalooy ug gugma nga imong gipakita sukad pa kaniadto.
7 Ayaw na hinumdomi ang mga sala nga akong nahimo sa batan-on pa ako.
Sumala sa imong gugma hinumdomi ako, Ginoo,
aron mapakita mo ang imong kaayo.
8 Maayo ug matarong ka, Ginoo,
busa ginatudloan mo ang mga makasasala sa pamaagi sa pagkinabuhi.
9 Gigiyahan mo ang mga mapainubsanon sa pagbuhat sa matarong.
Gitudloan mo sila sa imong pamaagi.
10 Sa tanan mong ginahimo, ginapadayag mo ang imong pagkamahigugmaon ug pagkamatinud-anon ngadto sa mga nagatuman sa imong kasabotan ug kasugoan.
11 Bisan daghan ang akong mga sala, Ginoo, pasayloa ako,
tungod ug alang sa imong kadungganan.
12 Ang mga nagatahod kanimo, Ginoo, giyahan mo sa dalan nga angay nilang agian.
13 Magkinabuhi sila nga mauswagon
ug ang ilang mga kaliwat padayon nga magpuyo sa yuta[a] sa Israel.
14 Suod ka, Ginoo, sa mga nagatahod kanimo.
Ginapahinumdoman mo sila sa imong kasabotan.
15 Ginoo, kanunay akong nagadangop kanimo,
kay ikaw ang nagaluwas kanako gikan sa katalagman.[b]
16 Patalinghogi ako ug kaloy-i,
kay nagainusara ako ug dinaog-daog.
17 Misamot pa gayod ang akong mga kalisdanan;
luwasa ako sa akong mga kabalaka.
18 Tan-awa ang akong mga pag-antos,
ug pasayloa ang tanan kong mga sala.
19 Tan-awa kon unsa kadaghan ang akong mga kaaway
ug kon unsa kadako ang ilang pagdumot kanako.
20 Tipigi ang akong kinabuhi ug luwasa ako!
Ayaw ako pakaulawi, kay kanimo ako nagadangop.
21 Nagakinabuhi ako nga maligdong ug matarong,
busa hinaut nga panalipdan mo ako kay nagasalig ako kanimo.
22 Luwasa, O Dios, ang mga Israelinhon sa tanan nilang mga kalisdanan.
