New International Version
Psalm 24
Of David. A psalm.
1 The earth is the Lord’s,(A) and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;(B)
2 for he founded it on the seas
    and established it on the waters.(C)
3 Who may ascend the mountain(D) of the Lord?
    Who may stand in his holy place?(E)
4 The one who has clean hands(F) and a pure heart,(G)
    who does not trust in an idol(H)
    or swear by a false god.[a]
5 They will receive blessing(I) from the Lord
    and vindication(J) from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
    who seek your face,(K) God of Jacob.[b][c]
7 Lift up your heads, you gates;(L)
    be lifted up, you ancient doors,
    that the King(M) of glory(N) may come in.(O)
8 Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,(P)
    the Lord mighty in battle.(Q)
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
    lift them up, you ancient doors,
    that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
    The Lord Almighty(R)—
    he is the King of glory.

Jorden tillhör Herren och allt som finns där,
    världen och alla som bor i den.
2 Han är den som lagt dess grund på haven,
    fäst den på strömmande vatten.
3 Vem får gå upp på Herrens berg?
    Vem får ställa sig på hans heliga plats?
4 Den som har skuldfria händer och ett rent hjärta,
    den som inte vänder sig till meningslösa gudar,[a]
    den som aldrig svär falskt.
5 Han får välsignelse av Herren,
    rättfärdighet från sin frälsnings Gud.
6 Sådant är det släkte

7 Slå upp er, ni portar,
    höj er, ni eviga dörrar,
    och låt härlighetens kung stiga in!

The King of Glory
A Psalm of David.
24 (A)The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,[a]
    the world and those who dwell therein,
2 for he has (B)founded it upon (C)the seas
    and established it upon the rivers.
3 (D)Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?
    And who shall stand in his (E)holy place?
4 (F)He who has (G)clean hands and (H)a pure heart,
    who does not (I)lift up his soul to (J)what is false
    and does not swear deceitfully.
5 He will receive (K)blessing from the Lord
    and (L)righteousness from (M)the God of his salvation.
6 Such is (N)the generation of those who seek him,
    who (O)seek the face of the God of Jacob.[b] Selah
7 (P)Lift up your heads, O gates!
    And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
    that (Q)the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord, strong and mighty,
