Prayer for Victory over Enemies.
For the music director. A Psalm of David.
20 May the Lord answer you (A)on a day of trouble!
May the (B)name of the (C)God of Jacob [a]protect you!
2 May He send you help (D)from the sanctuary,
And (E)support you from Zion!
3 May He (F)remember all your meal offerings
And [b](G)accept your burnt offering! Selah
4 May He grant you your (H)heart’s desire
And (I)fulfill your whole plan!
5 [c]We will (J)sing for joy over your [d]victory,
And in the name of our God we will (K)set up our banners.
May the Lord (L)fulfill all your desires.
6 Now (M)I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will (N)answer him from His holy heaven
With the [e](O)saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some praise their chariots and some their (P)horses,
But (Q)we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.
8 They have (R)bowed down and fallen,
But we have (S)risen and stood upright.
9 [f](T)Save, Lord;
May the (U)King answer us on the day we call.

20 Al músico principal. Salmo de David.El SEÑOR te responda en el día
de angustia;
el nombre del Dios de Jacob te defienda.
2 Él te envíe ayuda desde su santuario
y te sostenga desde Sion.
3 Tenga él memoria de tus ofrendas
y acepte tu holocausto. Selah[a]
4 Él te dé conforme a tu corazón
y cumpla todos tus planes.
5 Nosotros nos alegraremos por tu salvación,
y en el nombre de nuestro Dios
alzaremos bandera.
Cumpla el SEÑOR todos tus anhelos.
6 Ahora reconozco que el SEÑOR da la victoria a su ungido;
le responderá desde su santo cielo con la fuerza liberadora de su diestra.
7 Estos confían en carros,
y aquellos en caballos;
pero nosotros confiamos
en el nombre del SEÑOR nuestro Dios.
8 Ellos se doblegan y caen,
pero nosotros nos levantamos
y estamos firmes.
9 ¡Salva, oh SEÑOR!
¡Que el Rey nos oiga el día en que
le invoquemos!

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.
