Psalm 20:4-8

New International Version

May the Lord grant all your requests.^(E)

⁶ Now this I know:
    The Lord gives victory to his anointed.^(F)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
    with the victorious power of his right hand.^(G)
7 Some trust in chariots^(H) and some in horses,^(I)
    but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.^(J)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,^(K)
    but we rise up^(L) and stand firm.^(M)
