Psalm 2:7-12
New American Standard Bible 1995
7 “I will surely tell of the [a]decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are (A)My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and (B)I will surely give (C)the [b]nations as Your inheritance,
And the very (D)ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall [c](E)break them with a [d]rod of iron,
You shall (F)shatter them like [e]earthenware.’”
10 Now therefore, O kings, (G)show discernment;
Take warning, O [f]judges of the earth.
11 [g]Worship the Lord with [h](H)reverence
And rejoice with (I)trembling.
12 [i]Do homage to (J)the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For (K)His wrath may [j]soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who (L)take refuge in Him!
