Psalm 18:39-41

New International Version

³⁹ You armed me with strength^(A) for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries^(B) before me.
⁴⁰ You made my enemies turn their backs^(C) in flight,
    and I destroyed^(D) my foes.
⁴¹ They cried for help, but there was no one to save them^(E)—
    to the Lord, but he did not answer.^(F)
