Psalm 17:8-10

⁸Protect me as the pupil of your eye;^(A)
hide me in the shadow of your wings^(B)
⁹from^[a] the wicked who treat me violently,^[b]
my deadly enemies who surround me.^(C)

¹⁰They are uncaring;^[c]^(D)
