Psalm 16:5-11

⁵ The Lord is ^(A)my chosen portion and my ^(B)cup;
    you hold my ^(C)lot.
^6 (D)The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.

⁷ I bless the Lord who ^(E)gives me counsel;
    in ^(F)the night also my ^(G)heart instructs me.^[a]
8 (H)I have ^(I)set the Lord always before me;
    because he is at my ^(J)right hand, I shall not be ^(K)shaken.

⁹ Therefore my heart is glad, and my ^(L)whole being^[b] rejoices;
    my flesh also dwells secure.
¹⁰ For you will not abandon my soul to ^(M)Sheol,
    ^(N)or let your ^(O)holy one see ^(P)corruption.^[c]

¹¹ You make known to me ^(Q)the path of life;
    in your presence there is ^(R)fullness of joy;
    at your right hand are ^(S)pleasures forevermore.
