^7 (A)Who executes justice for the oppressed,
^(B)Who gives food to the hungry.
^(C)The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.

^6 (A)God sets the solitary in families;
^(B)He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But ^(C)the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

61 “The ^(A)Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord ^(B)has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me ^(C)to ^[a]heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim ^(D)liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

¹¹ “As for you also,
Because of the blood of your covenant,
I will set your ^(A)prisoners free from the waterless pit.
¹² Return to the stronghold,
^(B)You prisoners of hope.
Even today I declare
That I will restore ^(C)double to you.

¹⁸ To ^[a]do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
That the man of the earth may ^[b]oppress no more.

⁷ Bring my soul out of prison,
That I may ^(A)praise Your name;
The righteous shall surround me,
For You shall deal bountifully with me.”
