Psalm 146:3-10

^3 (A)Put not your trust in princes,
    ^(B)in a son of man, in whom there is ^(C)no salvation.
⁴ When ^(D)his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
    on that very day his plans perish.

^5 (E)Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
    whose ^(F)hope is in the Lord his God,
^6 (G)who made heaven and earth,
    the sea, and all that is in them,
^(H)who keeps faith forever;
^{7     (I)}who executes justice for the oppressed,
    ^(J)who gives food to the hungry.

^(K)The Lord sets the prisoners free;
^{8     (L)}the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
^(M)The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
    ^(N)the Lord loves the righteous.
^9 (O)The Lord watches over the sojourners;
    ^(P)he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
    but ^(Q)the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

^10 (R)The Lord will reign forever,
    your God, O Zion, to all generations.
