Psalm 138:3-8

New International Version

⁴ May all the kings of the earth^(D) praise you, Lord,
    when they hear what you have decreed.
⁵ May they sing^(E) of the ways of the Lord,
    for the glory of the Lord^(F) is great.

⁶ Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;^(G)
    though lofty, he sees them^(H) from afar.
⁷ Though I walk^(I) in the midst of trouble,
    you preserve my life.^(J)
You stretch out your hand^(K) against the anger of my foes;^(L)
    with your right hand^(M) you save me.^(N)
8 The Lord will vindicate^(O) me;
    your love, Lord, endures forever^(P)—
    do not abandon^(Q) the works of your hands.^(R)
