When I called,(A) you answered me;(B)
    you greatly emboldened(C) me.

May all the kings of the earth(D) praise you, Lord,
    when they hear what you have decreed.
May they sing(E) of the ways of the Lord,
    for the glory of the Lord(F) is great.

Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;(G)
    though lofty, he sees them(H) from afar.
Though I walk(I) in the midst of trouble,

The Lord will vindicate(O) me;
