Psalm 133

A pilgrimage song. Of David.

⁵ In the same way, though there are many of us, we are one body in Christ, and individually we belong to each other.

¹⁰ Love each other like the members of your family. Be the best at showing honor to each other.

²⁵ so that there won’t be division in the body and so the parts might have mutual concern for each other.

³ Don’t do anything for selfish purposes, but with humility think of others as better than yourselves. ⁴ Instead of each person watching out for their own good, watch out for what is better for others.

¹³ Be tolerant with each other and, if someone has a complaint against anyone, forgive each other. As the Lord forgave you, so also forgive each other.

¹⁶ This is how we know love: Jesus laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

²⁰ Those who say, “I love God” and hate their brothers or sisters are liars. After all, those who don’t love their brothers or sisters whom they have seen can hardly love God whom they have not seen!
