²Surely I have restrained and composed my soul, like a weaned child with its mother: my soul within me is as a weaned child.

³Let Israel hope in Jehovah, from henceforth and for evermore.

²But I have calmed and quieted myself,^(A)
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.^(B)

³Israel, put your hope^(C) in the Lord
both now and forevermore.^(D)
