128 Bem-aventurado aquele que teme ao Senhor e anda nos seus caminhos! 2 Pois comerás do trabalho das tuas mãos, feliz serás, e te irá bem.
3 A tua mulher será como a videira frutífera aos lados da tua casa; os teus filhos, como plantas de oliveira, à roda da tua mesa. 4 Eis que assim será abençoado o homem que teme ao Senhor!
5 O Senhor te abençoará desde Sião, e tu verás o bem de Jerusalém em todos os dias da tua vida. 6 E verás os filhos de teus filhos e a paz sobre Israel.

128 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,(A)
who walk in obedience to him.(B)
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;(C)
blessings and prosperity(D) will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine(E)
within your house;
your children(F) will be like olive shoots(G)
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing(H)
for the man who fears the Lord.(I)
