Psalm 125

King James Version

125 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

²As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

³For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

⁴Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

⁵As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

A Song of Ascents.

125 Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion, which ^(A)cannot be moved but ^(B)remains forever.
²As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So ^(C)the Lord surrounds His people
^(D)From this time and forever.
³For the ^(E)scepter of wickedness will not rest upon the ^[a]land of the righteous,
So that the righteous ^(F)will not extend their hands to do wrong.

⁴^(G)Do good, Lord, to those who are good
And to those who are ^(H)upright in their hearts.
⁵But as for those who ^(I)turn aside to their ^(J)crooked ways,
The Lord will lead them away with those who ^(K)practice injustice.
^(L)Peace be upon Israel.

125 ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ରଖନ୍ତି ସେମାନେ ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ।
    ସେମାନେ କେବେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଥରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
    ସେମାନେ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହୋଇ ବଞ୍ଚି ରହିବେ।
²ଯେମନ୍ତ ଯିରୁଶାଲମର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ପର୍ବତମାନ ଥାଏ,
    ତେମନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଚତୁଃର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଥା’ନ୍ତି।
    ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
³ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭୂମିକୁ ସଦାକାଳ ଅଧର୍ମ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଜ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣରେ ରଖିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
    ଯଦି ଏପରି ଘଟିଲା, ତେବେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଧର୍ମ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଦେବେ।

⁴ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଉତ୍ତମ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମଙ୍ଗଳ କର।
ପବିତ୍ର ହୃଦୟ ସହିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ କର।
⁵ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସେହିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅପରାଧ ଦିଗ ଆଡ଼କୁ ମାଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
ସେହିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅପରାଧ କରନ୍ତି।

ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ।
