Psalm 125:2-4

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so (A)the Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
3 For (B)the scepter of wickedness shall not (C)rest
on (D)the land allotted to the righteous,
lest the righteous (E)stretch out
their hands to do wrong.
4 (F)Do good, O Lord, to those who are good,
and to those who are (G)upright in their hearts!
