Psalm 122
King James Version
122 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

Cântico para os peregrinos a caminho de Jerusalém; salmo de Davi.
122 Alegrei-me quando me disseram:
“Vamos à casa do Senhor”.
2 Agora estamos aqui,
junto às suas portas, ó Jerusalém.
3 Jerusalém é cidade bem construída,
com muros firmes e compactos.
4 Todas as tribos de Israel, o povo do Senhor,
sobem para cá.
Vêm para dar graças ao nome do Senhor,
conforme a lei requer.
5 Aqui estão os tronos de onde se pronunciam julgamentos,
os tronos da dinastia de Davi.
6 Orem pela paz de Jerusalém;
sejam prósperos todos que amam esta cidade.
7 Que haja paz dentro de seus muros
e prosperidade em seus palácios.
8 Em favor de minha família e amigos, direi:
“Que você tenha paz, ó Jerusalém!”.
9 Em favor da casa do Senhor, nosso Deus,
buscarei o seu bem.

Within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built

The tribes of the Lord,

5 (E)For thrones are set there for judgment,
