1 I look up toward the mountains.
Where can I find help?
2 My help comes from Yahweh,
the maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let you fall.
Your guardian will not fall asleep.
4 Indeed, the Guardian of Israel never rests or sleeps.
5 Yahweh is your guardian.
Yahweh is the shade over your right hand.
6 The sun will not beat down on you during the day,
nor will the moon at night.
7 Yahweh guards you from every evil.
He guards your life.
8 Yahweh guards you as you come and go,
now and forever.

From whence comes my help?
2 (B)My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 (C)He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved;
(D)He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your [b]keeper;
The Lord is (E)your shade (F)at your right hand.
6 (G)The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall [c]preserve you from all evil;
He shall (H)preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall (I)preserve[d] your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ
121 أَرْفَعُ عَيْنَيَّ إِلَى الْجِبَالِ. مِنْ أَيْنَ يَأْتِي عَوْنِي؟ 2 يَأْتِي عَوْنِي مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ، صَانِعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ. 3 لَا يَدَعُ قَدَمَكَ تَزِلُّ. لَا يَنْعَسُ حَافِظُكَ. 4 لَا يَنْعَسُ وَلَا يَنَامُ حَافِظُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. 5 الرَّبُّ هُوَ حَافِظُكَ، الرَّبُّ سِتْرٌ لَكَ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ. 6 لَنْ تَضْرِبَكَ الشَّمْسُ بِحَرِّهَا نَهَاراً وَلَا الْقَمَرُ بِنُورِهِ لَيْلاً. 7 يَقِيكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ. يَقِي نَفْسَكَ. 8 الرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ ذِهَابَكَ وَإِيَابَكَ مِنَ الآنَ وَإِلَى الأَبَدِ.
