Psalm 121

A Song of [a]Ascents.

I will lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]—From whence shall my help come?(A)

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.(B)

Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield].(C)

The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.(D)

The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.(E)

Gabayga meelokoridda.

121 Buurahaan indhahayga ku taagi doonaa,
Caawimaaddaydu xaggee bay ka iman doontaa?
Caawimaaddaydu waxay ka timaadaa
Rabbiga sameeyey samada iyo dhulka.
Isagu uma oggolaan doono in cagtaada la dhaqaajiyo,
Kan ku dhawraa ma gam'i doono.
Bal eeg, kan reer binu Israa'iil dhawraa
Ma gam'i doono, mana seexan doono.
Kan ku dhawraa waa Rabbiga,
Rabbigu waa hooskaaga midigtaada taagan.
Qorraxdu maalinta waxba kuma yeeli doonto.
Habeenkana dayaxu waxba kuma yeeli doono.
Rabbiga ayaa kaa dhawri doona shar kasta,
Isagu wuxuu dhawri doonaa naftaada.
Hadda intii ka bilaabata iyo tan iyo weligeedba
Rabbigu wuxuu dhawri doonaa bixiddaada iyo soo geliddaadaba.
