Psalm 121
The Message
121 1-2 I look up to the mountains;
does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
3-4 He won’t let you stumble,
your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel’s
Guardian will never doze or sleep.
5-6 God’s your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.
7-8 God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.

God the Help of Those Who Seek Him
A Song of Ascents.
121 I (A)will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 (B)My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 (C)He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved;
(D)He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your [b]keeper;
The Lord is (E)your shade (F)at your right hand.
6 (G)The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall [c]preserve you from all evil;
He shall (H)preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall (I)preserve[d] your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Ang Panginoon ang tagapagingat ng kaniyang bayan. Awit sa mga Pagsampa.
121 Ititingin ko ang aking mga mata sa (A)mga bundok;
Saan baga manggagaling ang aking saklolo?
2 (B)Ang saklolo sa akin ay nanggagaling sa Panginoon,
Na gumawa ng langit at lupa.
3 (C)Hindi niya titiising ang paa mo'y makilos:
Siyang nagiingat sa iyo, ay (D)hindi iidlip.
4 Narito, siyang nagiingat ng Israel
Hindi iidlip ni matutulog man.
5 Ang Panginoon ay tagapagingat sa iyo:
Ang Panginoon ay (E)lilim mo sa iyong kanan.
6 Hindi ka sasaktan (F)ng araw sa araw,
Ni ng buwan man sa gabi.
7 Iingatan ka ng Panginoon sa lahat ng kasamaan;
Kaniyang (G)iingatan ang iyong kaluluwa.
8 (H)Iingatan ng Panginoon ang iyong paglabas at ang iyong pagpasok,
Mula sa panahong ito at sa magpakailan pa man.
