A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

2 எனக்கு உதவி பரலோகத்தையும் பூமியையும்
படைத்த கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வரும்.
3 தேவன் உன்னை விழவிடமாட்டார்.
உன்னைப் பாதுகாப்பவர் தூங்கமாட்டார்.
4 இஸ்ரவேலின் பாதுகாவலர் தூங்குவதில்லை.
தேவன் ஒருபோதும் உறங்கார்.
5 கர்த்தர் உன் பாதுகாவலர்.
அவரது மிகுந்த வல்லமையால் உன்னைப் பாதுகாக்கிறார்.
6 பகல் வேளையில் சூரியன் உன்னைத் துன்புறுத்தாது.
இரவில் சந்திரன் உன்னைத் துன்புறுத்தாது.
7 எல்லா ஆபத்துக்களிலிருந்தும் கர்த்தர் உன்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்.
கர்த்தர் உன் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்.
8 நீ வரும்போதும் போகும்போதும் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு உதவுவார்.
இப்போதும் என்றென்றும் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு உதவுவார்.

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
