Psalm 119:99-110

New International Version

⁹⁹I have more insight than all my teachers,
    for I meditate on your statutes.^(A)
¹⁰⁰I have more understanding than the elders,
    for I obey your precepts.^(B)
¹⁰¹I have kept my feet^(C) from every evil path
    so that I might obey your word.^(D)
¹⁰²I have not departed from your laws,^(E)
    for you yourself have taught^(F) me.
¹⁰³How sweet are your words to my taste,
    sweeter than honey^(G) to my mouth!^(H)
¹⁰⁴I gain understanding^(I) from your precepts;
    therefore I hate every wrong path.^(J)

¹⁰⁵Your word is a lamp^(K) for my feet,
    a light^(L) on my path.
¹⁰⁶I have taken an oath^(M) and confirmed it,
    that I will follow your righteous laws.^(N)
¹⁰⁷I have suffered much;
    preserve my life,^(O) Lord, according to your word.
¹⁰⁸Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth,^(P)
    and teach me your laws.^(Q)
¹⁰⁹Though I constantly take my life in my hands,^(R)
    I will not forget^(S) your law.
¹¹⁰The wicked have set a snare^(T) for me,
    but I have not strayed^(U) from your precepts.
