89 (A)Forever, Lord,
Your word stands in heaven.
90 Your (B)faithfulness continues [a]throughout generations;
You (C)established the earth, and it (D)stands.
91 They stand this day by Your (E)ordinances,
For (F)all things are Your servants.
92 If Your Law had not been my (G)delight,
Then I would have perished (H)in my misery.
93 I will (I)never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have [b](J)revived me.
94 I am Yours, (K)save me;
For I have (L)sought Your precepts.
95 The wicked (M)wait for me to destroy me;
I will diligently consider Your testimonies.
96 I have seen [c]a limit to all perfection;
Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable].(A)

Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation;
You have established the earth, and it stands [securely].
91
They continue this day according to Your ordinances,
For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants.(B)
92
If Your law had not been my delight,
Then I would have perished in my time of trouble.
93
I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me and given me life.
94
I am Yours, save me [as Your own];
For I have [diligently] sought Your precepts and required them [as my greatest need].(C)
95
The wicked wait for me to destroy me,
But I will consider Your testimonies.
96
I have seen that all [human] perfection has its limits [no matter how grand and perfect and noble];
Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity].(D)

89 Para sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra permanece no céu. 90 A tua fidelidade estende-se de geração a geração; tu firmaste a terra, e firme permanece. 91 Conforme o que ordenaste, tudo se mantém até hoje; porque todas as coisas te obedecem. 92 Se a tua lei não fora toda a minha alegria, há muito que teria perecido na minha angústia. 93 Nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos, pois por eles me tens vivificado. 94 Sou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos. 95 Os ímpios me esperam para me destruírem, mas eu atentarei para os teus testemunhos. 96 A toda perfeição vi limite, mas o teu mandamento é amplíssimo.

estabeleceste a terra, que firme subsiste.
91 Conforme as tuas ordens,
tudo permanece até hoje[a],
pois tudo está a teu serviço.
92 Se a tua lei não fosse o meu prazer,
o sofrimento já me teria destruído.
93 Jamais me esquecerei dos teus preceitos,
pois é por meio deles
que preservas a minha vida.
94 Salva-me, pois a ti pertenço
e busco os teus preceitos!
95 Os ímpios estão à espera para destruir-me,
mas eu considero os teus testemunhos.
96 Tenho constatado
que toda perfeição tem limite;
mas não há limite para o teu mandamento.
