67 (A)Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are (B)good and (C)do good;
(D)Teach me Your statutes.
69 The arrogant [a]have (E)forged a lie against me;
With all my heart I will (F)observe Your precepts.
70 Their heart is [b](G)covered with fat,
But I (H)delight in Your law.
71 It is (I)good for me that I was afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.
72 The (J)law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Yodh.

73 (K)Your hands made me and [c]fashioned me;
(L)Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.
74 May those who [d]fear You (M)see me and be glad,
Because I [e](N)wait for Your word.
75 I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are (O)righteous,
And that (P)in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
