Psalm 119:63-115
New American Standard Bible
63 I am a (A)companion to all those who [a]fear You,
And to those who keep Your precepts.
64 (B)The earth is full of Your goodness, Lord;
(C)Teach me Your statutes.
Teth
65 You have treated Your servant well,
Lord, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good [b](D)discernment and knowledge,
For I believe in Your commandments.
67 (E)Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are (F)good and You (G)do good;
(H)Teach me Your statutes.
69 The arrogant [c]have (I)forged a lie against me;
With all my heart I will (J)comply with Your precepts.
70 Their heart is (K)insensitive, like fat,
But I (L)delight in Your Law.
71 It is (M)good for me that I was afflicted,
So that I may learn Your statutes.
72 The (N)Law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
Yodh
73 (O)Your hands made me and [d]fashioned me;
(P)Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.
74 May those who [e]fear You (Q)see me and be glad,
Because I [f](R)wait for Your word.
75 I know, Lord, that Your judgments are (S)righteous,
And that You have afflicted me (T)in faithfulness.
76 May Your favor [g]comfort me,
According to Your [h]word to Your servant.
77 May (U)Your compassion come to me so that I may live,
For Your Law is my (V)delight.
78 May (W)the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray (X)with a lie;
But I shall (Y)meditate on Your precepts.
79 May those who [i]fear You turn to me,
And those who know Your testimonies.
80 May my heart be [j](Z)blameless in Your statutes,
So that I will not (AA)be ashamed.
Kaph
81 My (AB)soul languishes for Your salvation;
I [k](AC)wait for Your word.
82 My (AD)eyes fail with longing for Your [l]word,
[m]While I say, “When will You comfort me?”
83 Though I have (AE)become like a wineskin in the smoke,
I do (AF)not forget Your statutes.
84 How many are the (AG)days of Your servant?
When will You (AH)execute judgment on those who persecute me?
85 The arrogant have (AI)dug pits for me,
People who are not in accord with Your Law.
86 All Your commandments are (AJ)faithful;
They have (AK)persecuted me with a lie; (AL)help me!
87 They almost destroyed me on earth,
But as for me, I (AM)did not abandon Your precepts.
88 Revive me according to Your faithfulness,
So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.
Lamedh
89 (AN)Forever, Lord,
Your word stands in heaven.
90 Your (AO)faithfulness continues [n]throughout generations;
You (AP)established the earth, and it (AQ)stands.
91 They stand this day by Your (AR)ordinances,
For (AS)all things are Your servants.
92 If Your Law had not been my (AT)delight,
Then I would have perished (AU)in my misery.
93 I will (AV)never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have [o](AW)revived me.
94 I am Yours, (AX)save me;
For I have (AY)sought Your precepts.
95 The wicked (AZ)wait for me to destroy me;
I will diligently consider Your testimonies.
96 I have seen [p]a limit to all perfection;
Your commandment is exceedingly broad.
Mem
97 How I (BA)love Your Law!
It is my (BB)meditation all the day.
98 Your (BC)commandments make me wiser than my enemies,
For they are ever [q]mine.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my (BD)meditation.
100 I understand (BE)more than those who are old,
Because I have (BF)complied with Your precepts.
101 I have (BG)restrained my feet from every evil way,
So that I may keep Your word.
102 I have not (BH)turned aside from Your judgments,
For You Yourself have taught me.
103 How (BI)sweet are Your [r]words to my [s]taste!
Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 From Your precepts I (BJ)get understanding;
Therefore I (BK)hate every false way.
Nun
105 Your word is a (BL)lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
106 I have (BM)sworn and I will confirm it,
That I will keep Your righteous judgments.
107 I am exceedingly (BN)afflicted;
[t](BO)Revive me, Lord, according to Your word.
108 Be pleased to accept the [u](BP)voluntary offerings of my mouth, Lord,
And (BQ)teach me Your judgments.
109 My [v](BR)life is continually [w]in my hand,
Yet I do not (BS)forget Your Law.
110 The wicked have (BT)set a [x]trap for me,
Yet I have not (BU)wandered from Your precepts.
111 I have (BV)inherited Your testimonies forever,
For they are the (BW)joy of my heart.
112 I have (BX)inclined my heart to perform Your statutes
Forever, even (BY)to the end.
Samekh
113 I hate those who are (BZ)double-minded,
But I love Your (CA)Law.
114 You are my (CB)hiding place and my (CC)shield;
I [y](CD)wait for Your word.
115 (CE)Leave me, you evildoers,
So that I may (CF)comply with the commandments of my God.
