Psalm 119:41-56

New American Standard Bible

⁴¹ May Your ^(A)favor also come to me, Lord,
Your salvation ^(B)according to Your ^[a]word;
⁴² So that I will have an ^(C)answer for one who ^(D)taunts me,
For I trust in Your word.
⁴³ And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,
For I ^[b](E)wait for Your judgments.
⁴⁴ So I will ^(F)keep Your Law continually,
Forever and ever.
⁴⁵ And I will ^(G)walk ^[c]at liberty,
For I ^(H)seek Your precepts.
⁴⁶ I will also speak of Your testimonies ^(I)before kings
And shall not be ashamed.
⁴⁷ I will ^(J)delight in Your commandments,
Which I ^(K)love.
⁴⁸ And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments,
Which I ^(L)love;
And I will ^(M)meditate on Your statutes.

⁴⁹ Remember the word to Your servant,
^[d]In which You have made me hope.
⁵⁰ This is my ^(N)comfort in my misery,
That Your word has ^[e]revived me.
⁵¹ The arrogant ^(O)utterly deride me,
Yet I do not ^(P)turn aside from Your Law.
⁵² I have ^(Q)remembered Your judgments from ^[f]of old, Lord,
And comfort myself.
⁵³ Burning ^(R)indignation has seized me because of the wicked,
Who ^(S)abandon Your Law.
⁵⁴ Your statutes are my songs
In the house of my ^(T)pilgrimage.
⁵⁵ Lord, I ^(U)remember Your name ^(V)in the night,
And keep Your Law.
⁵⁶ This has become mine,
^[g]That I ^(W)comply with Your precepts.
