Psalm 119:137-176

^137 (A)Righteous are You, O Lord,
And upright are Your judgments.
¹³⁸ You have commanded Your testimonies in ^(B)righteousness
And exceeding ^(C)faithfulness.
¹³⁹ My ^(D)zeal has ^[a]consumed me,
Because my adversaries have forgotten Your words.
¹⁴⁰ Your ^[b](E)word is very ^[c]pure,
Therefore Your servant ^(F)loves it.
¹⁴¹ I am small and ^(G)despised,
Yet I do not ^(H)forget Your precepts.
¹⁴² Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
And ^(I)Your law is truth.
¹⁴³ Trouble and anguish have ^[d]come upon me,
Yet Your commandments are my ^(J)delight.
¹⁴⁴ Your ^(K)testimonies are righteous forever;
^(L)Give me understanding that I may live.

¹⁴⁵ I cried ^(M)with all my heart; answer me, O Lord!
I will ^(N)observe Your statutes.
¹⁴⁶ I cried to You; ^(O)save me
And I shall keep Your testimonies.
¹⁴⁷ I ^[e](P)rise before dawn and cry for help;
I ^[f]wait for Your words.
¹⁴⁸ My eyes anticipate the ^(Q)night watches,
That I may ^(R)meditate on Your ^[g]word.
¹⁴⁹ Hear my voice ^(S)according to Your lovingkindness;
^(T)Revive me, O Lord, according to Your ordinances.
¹⁵⁰ Those who follow after wickedness draw near;
They are far from Your law.
¹⁵¹ You are ^(U)near, O Lord,
And all Your commandments are ^(V)truth.
¹⁵² Of old I have ^(W)known from Your testimonies
That You have founded them ^(X)forever.

^153 (Y)Look upon my ^(Z)affliction and rescue me,
For I do not ^(AA)forget Your law.
^154 (AB)Plead my cause and ^(AC)redeem me;
Revive me according to Your ^[h]word.
¹⁵⁵ Salvation is ^(AD)far from the wicked,
For they ^(AE)do not seek Your statutes.
^156 [i](AF)Great are Your mercies, O Lord;
Revive me according to Your ordinances.
¹⁵⁷ Many are my ^(AG)persecutors and my adversaries,
Yet I do not ^(AH)turn aside from Your testimonies.
¹⁵⁸ I behold the ^(AI)treacherous and ^(AJ)loathe them,
Because they do not keep Your ^[j]word.
¹⁵⁹ Consider how I ^(AK)love Your precepts;
^(AL)Revive me, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness.
¹⁶⁰ The ^(AM)sum of Your word is ^(AN)truth,
And every one of Your righteous ordinances ^(AO)is everlasting.

^161 (AP)Princes persecute me without cause,
But my heart ^(AQ)stands in awe of Your words.
¹⁶² I ^(AR)rejoice at Your ^[k]word,
As one who ^(AS)finds great spoil.
¹⁶³ I ^(AT)hate and despise falsehood,
But I ^(AU)love Your law.
¹⁶⁴ Seven times a day I praise You,
Because of Your ^(AV)righteous ordinances.
¹⁶⁵ Those who love Your law have ^(AW)great peace,
And ^[l](AX)nothing causes them to stumble.
¹⁶⁶ I ^(AY)hope for Your salvation, O Lord,
And do Your commandments.
¹⁶⁷ My ^(AZ)soul keeps Your testimonies,
And I ^(BA)love them exceedingly.
¹⁶⁸ I ^(BB)keep Your precepts and Your testimonies,
For all my ^(BC)ways are before You.

¹⁶⁹ Let my ^(BD)cry ^[m]come before You, O Lord;
^(BE)Give me understanding ^(BF)according to Your word.
¹⁷⁰ Let my ^(BG)supplication come before You;
^(BH)Deliver me according to Your ^[n]word.
¹⁷¹ Let my ^(BI)lips utter praise,
For You ^(BJ)teach me Your statutes.
¹⁷² Let my ^(BK)tongue sing of Your ^[o]word,
For all Your ^(BL)commandments are righteousness.
¹⁷³ Let Your ^(BM)hand be ^[p]ready to help me,
For I have ^(BN)chosen Your precepts.
¹⁷⁴ I ^(BO)long for Your salvation, O Lord,
And Your law is my ^(BP)delight.
¹⁷⁵ Let my ^(BQ)soul live that it may praise You,
And let Your ordinances help me.
¹⁷⁶ I have ^(BR)gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant,
For I do ^(BS)not forget Your commandments.
