Psalm 119:133-144

New International Version

¹³³ Direct my footsteps according to your word;^(A)
    let no sin rule^(B) over me.
¹³⁴ Redeem me from human oppression,^(C)
    that I may obey your precepts.^(D)
135 Make your face shine^(E) on your servant
    and teach me your decrees.^(F)
136 Streams of tears^(G) flow from my eyes,
    for your law is not obeyed.^(H)

¹³⁷ You are righteous,^(I) Lord,
    and your laws are right.^(J)
138 The statutes you have laid down are righteous;^(K)
    they are fully trustworthy.^(L)
139 My zeal wears me out,^(M)
    for my enemies ignore your words.
¹⁴⁰ Your promises^(N) have been thoroughly tested,^(O)
    and your servant loves them.^(P)
141 Though I am lowly and despised,^(Q)
    I do not forget your precepts.^(R)
142 Your righteousness is everlasting
    and your law is true.^(S)
143 Trouble and distress have come upon me,
    but your commands give me delight.^(T)
144 Your statutes are always righteous;
    give me understanding^(U) that I may live.
