Psalm 118
Darby Translation
118 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
2 Oh let Israel say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
3 Oh let the house of Aaron say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
4 Oh let them that fear Jehovah say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
5 I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [and set me] in a large place.
6 Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
7 Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;
9 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.
10 All nations encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
11 They encompassed me, yea, encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
12 They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
13 Thou hast thrust hard at me that I might fall; but Jehovah helped me.
14 My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.
15 The voice of triumph and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly;
16 The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Jah.
18 Jah hath chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them; Jah will I praise.
20 This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.
21 I will give thee thanks, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
22 [The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:
23 This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee; Jehovah, I beseech thee, oh send prosperity!
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.
27 Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords,—up to the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks; my God, I will exalt thee.
29 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Praise to God for His Everlasting Mercy
2 (C)Let Israel now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”
3 Let the house of Aaron now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”
4 Let those who fear the Lord now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”
5 (D)I called on the Lord in distress;
The Lord answered me and (E)set me in a broad place.
6 (F)The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?
7 (G)The Lord is for me among those who help me;
Therefore (H)I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
8 (I)It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
9 (J)It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations surrounded me,
But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
11 They (K)surrounded me,
Yes, they surrounded me;
But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They surrounded me (L)like bees;
They were quenched (M)like a fire of thorns;
For in the name of the Lord I will [a]destroy them.
13 You pushed me violently, that I might fall,
But the Lord helped me.
14 (N)The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation
Is in the tents of the righteous;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
16 (O)The right hand of the Lord is exalted;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
17 (P)I shall not die, but live,
And (Q)declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has (R)chastened[b] me severely,
But He has not given me over to death.
19 (S)Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will go through them,
And I will praise the Lord.
20 (T)This is the gate of the Lord,
(U)Through which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise You,
For You have (V)answered me,
And have become my salvation.
22 (W)The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
23 [c]This was the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
26 (X)Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord,
And He has given us (Y)light;
Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise You;
(Z)You are my God, I will exalt You.
29 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

118 Pasalamatan ang Panginoon, dahil siyaʼy mabuti;
ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay walang hanggan.
2 Ang lahat ng mamamayan ng Israel ay magsabi, “Ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay walang hanggan.”
3 Ang lahat ng mga angkan ni Aaron ay magsabi, “Ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay walang hanggan.”
4 Ang lahat ng may takot sa Panginoon ay magsabi, “Ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay walang hanggan.”
5 Sa aking kagipitan, dumulog ako sa Panginoon,
at akoʼy kanyang sinagot at iniligtas.
6 Kasama ko ang Panginoon, kaya hindi ako matatakot.
Ano ang magagawa ng tao sa akin?
7 Kasama ko ang Panginoon, siya ang tumutulong sa akin.
Makikita ko ang pagkatalo ng aking mga kaaway.
8 Mas mabuting manalig sa Panginoon, sa halip na magtiwala sa tao.
9 Mas mabuting manalig sa Panginoon, sa halip na magtiwala sa mga pinuno.
10 Napaligiran ako ng maraming bansang kaaway ko,
ngunit sa kapangyarihan ng Panginoon silaʼy tinalo ko.
11 Totoong pinaligiran nila ako,
ngunit sa kapangyarihan ng Panginoon silaʼy tinalo ko.
12 Sinalakay nila ako na parang mga pukyutan,
ngunit silaʼy napatigil agad na parang sinusunog na dayami na madali lang mapawi ng apoy.
Dahil sa kapangyarihan ng Panginoon, silaʼy tinalo ko.
13 Puspusan nila akong sinalakay,
at halos magtagumpay na sila,
ngunit tinulungan ako ng Panginoon.
14 Ang Panginoon ang aking kalakasan
at siya ang aking awit.
Siya ang nagligtas sa akin.
15-16 Naririnig ang masayang sigawan ng mga mamamayan ng Dios sa kanilang mga tolda dahil sa kanilang tagumpay.
Ang Panginoon ang nagbigay sa kanila ng tagumpay sa pamamagitan ng kanyang kapangyarihan!
Ang kapangyarihan ng Panginoon ang nagbibigay ng tagumpay!
17 Hindi ako mamamatay, sa halip ay mabubuhay,
at isasaysay ko ang mga ginawa ng Panginoon.
18 Kahit napakatindi ng parusa ng Panginoon sa akin, hindi niya niloob na akoʼy mamatay.
19 Buksan ninyo ang pintuan ng templo ng Panginoon para sa akin dahil papasok ako at siyaʼy aking pasasalamatan.
20 Ito ang pintuan ng Panginoon na ang mga matuwid lang ang makakapasok.
21 Magpapasalamat ako sa inyo Panginoon, dahil sinagot nʼyo ang aking dalangin.
Kayo ang nagligtas sa akin.
22 Ang batong itinakwil ng mga tagapagtayo ay siyang naging batong pundasyon.
23 Ang Panginoon ang may gawa nito at tunay na kahanga-hanga sa ating paningin.
24 Ito ang araw na ginawa ng Panginoon, kaya tayoʼy magalak at magdiwang.
25 Panginoon, patuloy nʼyo kaming iligtas.
Pagtagumpayin nʼyo kami sa lahat ng aming ginagawa.
26 Pinagpapala ang dumarating sa ngalan ng Panginoon.
Pagpalain sana kayo ng Panginoon mula sa kanyang templo.
27 Ang Panginoon ay Dios at napakabuti niya sa atin.
Magdala tayo ng mga sanga ng punongkahoy para sa pagdiriwang ng pista, at pumarada paikot sa altar.
28 Panginoon, kayo ang aking Dios;
nagpapasalamat ako at nagpupuri sa inyo.
29 Pasalamatan ang Panginoon, dahil siyaʼy mabuti;
ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay walang hanggan.
